About the role#
We are looking for a co-op student to join our HRIS team. You will support the administration and coordination of daily human resources processes within Workday. This role involves working across several modules, including HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Recruitment, and Learning. You will also assist with system enhancements and project-based work.
What you'll do#
- Process routine employee transactions in Workday, such as new hires, job changes, and terminations.
- Update position data to maintain accurate organizational structures.
- Manage the Workday support queue and respond to user inquiries.
- Conduct data audits for security roles, cost centers, and reporting structures.
- Maintain system documentation and the job aid library.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Assist with system projects, including new functionality, configuration changes, and semi-annual release preparation.
- Run regular and ad-hoc reports as requested.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Business, Commerce, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized while managing competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- A self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Previous knowledge or experience with Workday is an asset.

- Locations include Mississauga, MN and Toronto, ON.
