About the role#
As a Technology Support Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the hardware, software, and technology needs of employees at IGS Energy. You will work alongside experienced professionals to resolve issues, support end users, and maintain the tools that keep the business running. This role is ideal for students interested in IT support, systems administration, and technology operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Tier I troubleshooting and problem resolution for hardware, software, and technology issues.
- Install, maintain, and update desktop hardware, operating systems, and software applications across Windows, Mac, and iOS platforms.
- Assist with hardware and software moves, additions, and configuration changes.
- Help create and maintain installation guides, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Maintain the knowledge base, document issues and resolutions, and generate reports for management.
- Support team projects and collaborate with technical staff.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CIS, CSE, MIS, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and multitasking abilities.
- Comfort working with a variety of technologies and learning new systems.
