About the role#
This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience in sales and customer relationship management within the energy industry. You will work alongside an experienced team to learn the sales process from start to finish. The role runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Connect with customers by phone to identify their energy needs and match them with appropriate products.
- Document all customer interactions and maintain sales records using CRM technology.
- Manage a designated project that supports a departmental business objective.
- Shadow team members to gain a deep understanding of energy products and pricing structures.
- Evaluate existing tracking lists and suggest improvements to current processes.
- Build professional relationships with colleagues and fellow interns while working toward shared goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program. Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or Finance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and stay organized.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
- A willingness to learn from your daily work, your teammates, and ongoing feedback.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site at the corporate office in Dublin, Ohio.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
