About the role#
As a Technical Enablement Specialist Intern, you will join the IBM Z Ecosystem team. You will support clients, business partners, and internal teams by providing technical guidance and demonstrations. This role offers exposure to enterprise-class systems, modern automation, and hybrid cloud environments.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to IBM Z and LinuxONE infrastructure projects.
- Assist with infrastructure design, automation, deployment, and readiness activities for Z and LinuxONE technology, networking, and storage.
- Create partner-facing and client-ready assets, such as presentations, demos, workshops, and labs.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and follow-up tasks for Z Ecosystem program workstreams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- A foundational understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, or databases.
- Familiarity with IBM Z and LinuxONE technologies.
- Experience with system programming, automation, containerization, or AI concepts.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- A self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn enterprise technology.
