About the role#
As a Strategy Consultant Intern, you will work on real client projects across various industries. You will work alongside experienced team members to develop consulting skills and technical expertise. This internship focuses on continuous learning and mentorship, with high-performing interns having a potential pathway into the IBM Associate Program.
What you'll do#
- Conduct primary research to help clients navigate market trends and refine their competitive strategies.
- Design models to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
- Support workshops, meetings, and interviews to document client requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to capture and synthesize essential information.
- Shadow product teams and assist with enterprise-wide data integrations.
- Contribute to data analytics assessments and participate in cloud migration and system implementations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program with a record of academic success.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills with a history of leadership.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, adapt to new challenges, and apply logical approaches to problem-solving.
- Foundational quantitative analysis skills and the ability to develop data-driven recommendations.
- Interest in strategy, application, business transformation, or experience consulting.
- Familiarity with programming, including the ability to read, debug, and explain code.
- Exposure to cloud and AI concepts, such as Azure services, data platforms, security, and AI models.
- Experience with Agile methodologies or cloud-native projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of technologies like JavaScript, HTML, XML, or SQL is a plus.
