About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship program based in Atlanta. You will join the Visa Consulting and Analytics team to work on strategic projects for clients including issuers and merchants. The role involves a mix of data analysis, research, and presentation development. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help solve complex business problems.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on consulting engagements.
- Participate in client interviews and summarize key findings.
- Conduct industry research and identify data resources for custom analytics.
- Analyze confidential client data to identify trends and themes.
- Develop and deliver presentations for executive-level audiences and internal partners.
- Use digital tools, including Generative AI, to support daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Majors in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize large datasets into strategic insights.
- Ability to form and validate hypotheses using data.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Intellectual curiosity and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Interest in payments technology, financial institutions, or consumer lending.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting, or experience with tools like SAS, R, or Tableau is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week in the office.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $29.00 to $33.00 per hour.
- Travel: 5-10% of the time.
- Note: Visa will not provide work visa sponsorship for this position.
