About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to learn product management within the IBM Z and LinuxONE portfolio. You will work with the broader product organization to support business goals and portfolio management. The role involves learning IBM product management methodologies, design thinking, and processes for new product introduction.
What you'll do#
- Support product teams by defining requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to find new product opportunities.
- Conduct and curate insights from interviews with existing and potential customers.
- Engage with product teams to move insights forward into the product development process.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a college or university.
- Junior or senior level coursework in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Product Management, Business Development, Product Development, or Product Design.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Creativity and the flexibility to adapt to new scenarios.
- Experience with customer feedback survey analytics.
- Familiarity with AI model training.
