About the role#
As an Intern Data Specialist, you will join the AI, Analytics, Automation, and Data Services practice. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help clients modernize data platforms, build scalable pipelines, and develop AI-driven solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience in turning data into actionable insights and automating business processes. You will participate in project meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions to build your consulting and technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Support data engineering services and AI initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist team members with designing, building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and integration processes.
- Contribute to data preparation, transformation, validation, and quality activities.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Assist with testing and validating data engineering and analytics solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
- Interest in data engineering, Artificial Intelligence, automation, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts, including exposure to Python, SQL, or Java.
- Foundational knowledge of databases, data structures, data processing, and analytics.
- Exposure to data preparation, visualization, or business problem-solving through coursework, projects, or research.
- Awareness of Machine Learning and Generative AI concepts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
