You will work within a team of scientists and engineers to bridge fundamental science and transformative engineering. Your work will focus on AI models, real-time data, and the context backbone for agents and stream-native AI. You will identify core challenges, build prototypes, and validate your findings through rigorous experimentation.
What you'll do#
- Explore efficiency, accuracy, and scalability challenges while testing new theories and computational models.
- Engage in the full research lifecycle, from ideation to project completion, within small, mentored teams.
- Develop and evaluate stream-native AI, including real-time AI services for agents and multi-agent skill synthesis.
- Transform event streams into hybrid world models and optimize queries for integrated data management.
- Share your findings through patent applications and publications in conferences.
- Build high-impact technical demonstrations to present your research.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Hands-on experience and deep theoretical knowledge of Large Language Models and transformer architectures.
- Proficiency in Python for rapid prototyping and implementing large-scale machine learning systems.
- Advanced expertise in the PyTorch framework and full-cycle algorithm development.
- A track record of innovation, such as peer-reviewed publications or strong preprints.
- Experience with stream processing and applying generative AI to data management challenges.
- Demonstrated strength in quantitative analysis and experimental design.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly in writing and presentations.
- A strong publication record in top-tier conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, VLDB, SIGMOD, or AAAI.
