About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12-week program designed to provide hands-on corporate experience within our manufacturing environment. You will support daily human resources functions and work directly with plant leadership on hiring, interviewing, benefits, policy administration, employee relations, and engagement. You will also manage specific projects including HMS implementation and action planning for the Elevate Employee Survey.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and colleagues across the business.
- Develop technical skills relevant to your field of study.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
- Build professional relationships and gain insight into the electrical and utility industry.
- Provide support and assistance to co-workers.
- Deliver a final presentation to the local management team at the end of your program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
