About the role#
This Engineering/Technical Co-Op role supports growth initiatives through demand forecast reporting and lead management. You will work with Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations to identify business opportunities and analyze commercial performance. This position offers exposure to product management, business analytics, and demand forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze historical sales, customer quotes, and order data to identify potential leads.
- Develop reports and dashboards that track customer activity, demand forecasting, and captured leads.
- Review Engineering and Sales processes to assist in automation for efficiency.
- Support Product Managers with business analysis, forecasting, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to identify target accounts and market opportunities.
- Maintain and organize customer, demand forecast, and engineered design databases.
- Assist with change management and data validation related to the SAP ERP transition.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Data Science, Finance, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Excel Query language.
- Interest in business analytics and probability forecasting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI is preferred.
- Experience working with large data sets and business reporting tools is a plus.
