About the role#
This is a 12-week paid summer internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the HP Solutions (HPS) organization, which focuses on providing technology solutions and services to global customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in either Spring, Texas, or Austin, Texas. Please note that this position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world technical challenges.
- Complete major projects that contribute to the team.
- Participate in networking sessions and executive speaker events.
- Engage in community involvement projects.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree or be in your 1st year of a Master's program.
- You must be enrolled full-time at an accredited university in a field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- You must be able to obtain work authorization in the United States by 2027.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and research skills demonstrated through project experience.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work in unstructured situations.
- Experience delivering results within cross-functional teams.
- Strong public speaking and facilitation skills, including the ability to influence others.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
- Ability to work as a team player who supports peers and leads through logical reasoning.

- Pay: $31 to $37 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience.
