About the role#
The Device Experiences team at HP IQ builds software for Windows client devices and emerging hardware platforms. We work where software, hardware, and AI meet. You will help us create intuitive product experiences, including new health-focused initiatives. This role involves taking projects from early concepts to working prototypes.
What you'll do#
- Build foundational frameworks for responsive and intuitive user experiences.
- Work with designers and engineers to prototype and iterate on new product interactions.
- Solve technical problems by identifying tradeoffs and constraints.
- Connect sensors and hardware capabilities to application-level frameworks to develop new interaction models.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Java or C++.
- Experience with mobile platform development.
- Strong communication skills to work across different teams.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May/June through August/September).
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Compensation: $45.00 to $51.00 per hour.
