About the role#
HOOPP is seeking a student intern to join the Pension Services, Investigations and Financial Recovery Support team for the Winter 2027 term. This role offers the chance to gain practical experience in pension operations while working on tasks that directly impact our members. You will report to the Director and Lead and collaborate with professionals across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and implementation of assigned projects.
- Review member files and research invalid addresses.
- Locate contact information for unlocatable members.
- Support knowledge and learning management systems.
- Perform office administration duties and assist team members with various initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program focused on business administration, commerce, or communications.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving and research skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
