About the role#
Home Creations is hiring a Construction Intern/Assistant to support our building teams in Moore, Harrah, and Choctaw. You will work directly under the supervision of the Superintendent to manage daily site operations and maintenance. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Maintain site landscaping, including yards, shrubs, trees, and sod watering.
- Keep streets and gutters clean and ensure all signs remain upright.
- Walk every room of every house daily to monitor progress and quality.
- Complete minor touch-ups and punch-list tasks.
- Communicate with sub-contractors and lock or unlock job sites daily.
- Assist in delivering houses according to contract timelines.
- Provide recommendations to the Builder and Superintendent.
- Attend all required staff meetings.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Six months of general labor or relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with erosion control guidelines.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with computers and technology.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- A willingness to work as part of a dedicated team.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Moore, Harrah, and Choctaw, Oklahoma.
- You will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- The work environment involves exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, dust, and noise. You must be comfortable with physical tasks including bending, climbing, and walking.
