About the role#
Intrinsic Development is hiring a Construction Management Intern to support our Project Management team. You will work on pre-construction initiatives, including bid invitations, document organization, and general construction office tasks for upcoming projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with the construction process from concept through completion.
- Learn how to finish projects on time and on budget.
- Help ensure safety compliance across all project aspects.
- Gain experience in bidding, estimating, and securing subcontractors through our Procurement and Estimating department.
- Support the Project Manager in providing daily direction and supervision for field Superintendents and direct reports.
What you'll need#
- Construction Management or related major.
- Interest in multi-family or mixed-use construction projects.
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours during the summer.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- Valid driver license and ability to operate a vehicle.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs and use tools.

- Pay: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
