About the role#
This is a returning internship position for Summer 2027 within the Southeast Division, exclusively for current or previous HNTB interns. You will support engineering teams by performing basic tasks that align with standard post-secondary engineering curricula.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with various tasks and project duties.
- Support research, development, and design efforts for infrastructure projects.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program, plus a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
- Capability to organize information for use in drawings and other project documents.
- A foundational understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Ability to accept and apply direction from peers and supervisors.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
- Locations include Atlanta, GA, and the following Florida cities: Bartow, Chipley, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Lake Mary, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, and Tampa.
