About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship position for the Summer 2027 term, open exclusively to current or previous HNTB interns. You will support engineering teams by performing tasks that align with standard post-secondary engineering curricula. This role is on-site and requires authorization to work in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Support research, development, and design efforts for various projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documentation as assigned.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for project use.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (completion of two years is preferred).
- Foundational knowledge of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to accept and apply direction from supervisors and peers.
- Familiarity with introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
Location & details#
This position is available in the following locations: Atlanta, GA, and the Florida cities of Bartow, Chipley, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Lake Mary, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, and Tampa. This is a full-time, on-site internship.
