About the role#
HNTB is hiring a Digital Media Intern to support the Choose How You Move program in Nashville. This role focuses on digital storytelling and content development for a public transportation initiative. You will gain experience in communications and public engagement while working with planning professionals. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling term and a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Create social media content including reels, carousels, graphics, and short-form videos.
- Write and edit social media posts, project profiles, email marketing materials, and website content.
- Assist with events, forums, and public meetings.
- Conduct research on industry trends and best practices.
- Compile and provide analytics on content performance.
- Help maintain the team photo and video asset library.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or Media Studies.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work independently.

- This position is located in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Work is performed on-site at the City Center office.
- This is a paid internship.
