About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship based at our corporate headquarters in Newport News, Virginia. You will report directly to the Corporate Director of Sustainability and support the team in advancing our long-term business strategy and sustainability goals.
What you'll do#
- Support the operationalization of sustainability objectives by coordinating with the Chief Sustainability Officer, executive committees, and division leads.
- Manage daily project tasks and document progress, decisions, and changes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to remove project impediments and ensure deliverables meet established standards.
- Assist with data management and analysis related to sustainability.
- Prepare for domestic and international regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program, such as Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, English, or Human Resources.
- Current status as a rising Junior or above at a 4-year college, university, or 2+2 program.
- Plans to attend school in the fall following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work a 40-hour work week for at least 10 weeks.
