About the role#
L3Harris is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety intern to join the team in Camden. This role focuses on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all employees through program development and site-specific safety audits.
What you'll do#
- Help develop and improve EHS programs, policies, and training.
- Respond to employee questions or concerns about health and safety.
- Perform Job Hazard Analyses and conduct hazardous noise surveys.
- Evaluate indoor air quality and maintain data records from those evaluations.
- Coordinate activities with third-party contractors.
- Participate in laboratory safety audits.
- Take part in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
- Review chemical purchase requests for health and safety compliance.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Systems Safety, Human Factors, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), indoor air quality, and hazardous noise is preferred.
- Familiarity with crane and aerial lift operations is a plus.

- Location: Camden, Arkansas.
- Schedule: 4/10 work week (four 10-hour days).
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
