About the role#
The Summer 2027 Clinical and Population Health Graduate Internship provides hands-on experience using advanced analytics to address healthcare challenges. You will work alongside professionals in analytics, clinical, operational, financial, and technical fields to improve health outcomes. This role focuses on developing your skills in population health, clinical quality, and data-driven decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Leverage clinical, member, financial, and administrative data to identify patterns and develop actionable insights.
- Evaluate opportunities aligned with the Quadruple Aim of Healthcare, including improving quality, reducing costs, and enhancing patient experiences.
- Support the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical and population health analyses, metrics, and reports.
- Translate complex data into recommendations for business and clinical stakeholders.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to healthcare datasets.
- Develop and monitor population health and clinical quality metrics.
- Conduct research and provide reports with proposed actions.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of unit projects.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a graduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Preference for advanced degrees in Public Health, Economics, Health Sciences, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related quantitative disciplines.
- An interest in population health, healthcare analytics, clinical quality, healthcare economics, or health services research.
- Experience analyzing healthcare, clinical, financial, administrative, or population-level data.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, epidemiologic methods, research methodologies, or healthcare performance measurement.
- Experience with analytical or statistical tools used to evaluate complex datasets.
- An understanding of healthcare quality, utilization, cost, and outcomes.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, part-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. independently. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
