    About the role#

    This BCBA Fellowship provides paid supervision hours through a structured clinical program. Fellows work one-on-one with clients to provide ABA behavior interventions, focusing on communication, daily living skills, and positive behavior reinforcement. The program includes a comprehensive 7-level development plan, BCBA mentorship, and opportunities to complete unrestricted activities as defined by the BACB to meet requirements for the BCBA exam.

    What you'll do#

    • Build trusting relationships with clients through social interaction.
    • Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and problem-solving.
    • Gradually reduce prompts to promote client independence.
    • Increase the duration and occurrence of desirable behaviors using positive reinforcement.
    • Accurately collect unbiased behavior data.
    • Communicate proactively with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors.
    • Perform unrestricted activities such as training staff, conducting behavior-analytic assessments, and writing behavior-analytic programs.
    • Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance and work with a mentor on guided practice.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in or graduation from a BACB-approved Master’s or Certification Program (must have a 60% exam pass rate for 3 consecutive years or be ABAI/APBA accredited).
    • Ability to pass the RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
    • Must be an active RBT with Helping Hands Family for 60 days.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for session notes and family interactions.

    • Location: Iselin, New Jersey.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment: Full-time.
    • Compensation: Paid position with a base salary range of $18.90—$20.05 USD.
