About the role#
This fellowship provides a structured clinical program with paid supervision hours for individuals working toward their BCBA certification. Fellows provide one-on-one ABA behavior interventions to teach communication, daily living skills, and positive behaviors. The program includes a seven-level curriculum to develop essential clinical skills, monthly mentorship meetings, and opportunities to complete unrestricted activities as defined by the BACB.
What you'll do#
- Build trusting relationships with clients through social interaction.
- Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and problem-solving.
- Gradually reduce prompts to promote independent responses.
- Increase the occurrence and duration of desirable behaviors using positive reinforcement.
- Accurately collect and record unbiased behavior data.
- Communicate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors.
- Conduct behavior-analytic assessments and research relevant literature.
- Train staff and caregivers on behavior-analytic programs.
- Write and revise behavior-analytic programs while maintaining the BACB Ethical Compliance Code.
- Collaborate with a BCBA mentor on guided practice of the BCBA role.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or graduation from a BACB approved Master’s or Certification Program (must have a BACB reported exam pass rate of 60% or higher for 3 consecutive years or be ABAI/APBA accredited).
- Ability to pass the RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
- Must be an active RBT for 60 days with Helping Hands Family.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and documentation.

- Compensation: $18.90, $20.05 per hour.
