    About the role#

    This Fellowship provides paid supervision hours through a structured clinical program. You will provide one-on-one ABA behavior interventions to teach communication, practice daily living skills, and encourage positive behaviors. Fellows complete unrestricted activities as defined by the BACB to help meet the requirements to sit for the BCBA exam. The program includes 70% of supervision hours paid, BCBA mentorship, and access to exam preparation materials.

    What you'll do#

    • Build a positive and trusting relationship with clients.
    • Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and problem-solving.
    • Gradually reduce prompts to promote independent responses.
    • Increase the occurrence and duration of desirable behaviors by providing positive reinforcement.
    • Accurately collect unbiased behavior data.
    • Communicate proactively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors.
    • Observe and collect data.
    • Train staff and caregivers on behavior-analytic programs.
    • Conduct behavior-analytic assessments.
    • Research literature relevant to a current client’s programming.
    • Write and revise behavior-analytic programs.
    • Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code.
    • Work with a BCBA Mentor on guided practice.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in or graduation from a BACB approved Master’s or Certification Program.
    • Your program must have a BACB reported exam pass rate of 60% or higher for 3 consecutive years or be an ABAI/APBA accredited program.
    • Pass the RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
    • Must be an active RBT for 60 days with Helping Hands Family.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for speaking with families and recording session notes.

    • Location: Springfield, Pennsylvania.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $20 to $24 per hour.
