This Fellowship position provides a structured clinical program designed to offer supervised field work hours. Fellows provide one-on-one ABA behavior interventions to teach communication, daily living skills, and positive behaviors. The program includes opportunities to complete unrestricted activities as defined by the BACB, helping participants meet requirements to sit for the BCBA exam.
What you'll do#
- Build trusting relationships with clients through social interaction.
- Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and problem-solving.
- Guide clients toward safe behaviors and provide positive reinforcement to increase desirable outcomes.
- Accurately collect unbiased behavior data.
- Communicate proactively with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors.
- Perform unrestricted activities, including conducting behavior-analytic assessments, training staff and caregivers, researching relevant literature, and writing behavior-analytic programs.
- Work with a BCBA mentor on guided practice of the BCBA role.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or graduation from a BACB-approved Master’s or Certification Program (must meet specific exam pass rate or accreditation criteria).
- Ability to pass the RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
- Must be an active RBT for 60 days with Helping Hands Family.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with families and recording session notes.

- Compensation: Paid position ($20–$25 per hour).
- Terms: Rolling start dates.
