About the role#
HealthCorps is seeking a Marketing & Communications intern to support regional efforts in Northern Arizona. This role focuses on storytelling, community engagement, and promoting health and wellness through digital and physical channels. You will work closely with regional teams to elevate the mission by connecting students, educators, and community members to program activities.
What you'll do#
- Support content collection and storytelling projects for digital communications, social media, and regional outreach.
- Visit local school sites weekly to capture stories and content from student clubs.
- Manage regional social media channels by creating and publishing content on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
- Assist with the development of communications materials, including newsletters, email updates, and event invitations.
- Create and update marketing collateral such as flyers, posters, and promotional materials.
- Track engagement analytics to report on the performance of marketing and communications efforts.
- Collaborate with regional staff and fellow interns to align on messaging and storytelling strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public health, business administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Basic photography, image, and video editing skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
