About the role#
Haworth is hiring a Corporate Security Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site at our corporate headquarters in Holland, Michigan. You will join our security team to gain hands-on experience in physical security operations, emergency preparedness, and data analysis. This role involves working alongside plant leaders and cross-functional teams to improve security protocols and manage audit findings.
What you'll do#
- Assist with security metrics and data reporting to provide clear insights.
- Conduct security audits across our office and manufacturing locations.
- Create executive-level summaries that include actionable recommendations.
- Support large-scale company events and coordinate safety operations.
- Participate in emergency preparedness activities.
- Partner with internal teams to strengthen physical security programs and follow through on audit results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Criminal Justice, Business, Psychology, or Social Work.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 through August 2027.
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and spreadsheet applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- Preferred qualifications include a 2.95 GPA or higher, prior work or Haworth experience, and involvement in clubs or athletics.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Power BI, is preferred.
- Interest or experience in AI, machine learning, or medical response is a plus.
