About the role#
This internship offers the chance to work directly with Commissioner Alicia Reece and her staff on special projects. You will assist the team with event support, agenda preparation, and various office tasks. This is a paid, part-time position with a 20-hour work week.
What you'll do#
- Support the Commissioner and staff on assigned projects.
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, reproducing, and distributing documents.
- Compose routine correspondence.
- Manage incoming telephone calls.
- Assist with digital communication efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of public sector budgeting and finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A valid driver's license and a vehicle to use for work responsibilities.

- The position is located at 138 East Court St., Cincinnati, Ohio.
- This is an on-site role.
- The schedule is flexible within the core hours of 7:30 to 5:30.
