About the role#
The Hamilton County Auditor's Office is hiring a Hotel Lodging Tax Intern. This is a paid, part-time position based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role is on-site and follows a rolling application schedule.
What you'll do#
You will conduct field audits of County lodging tax receipts and discuss your findings with clients. The role involves preparing audit reports, managing statistical and budget records, and assisting with research projects. You will also handle administrative tasks, such as coordinating meetings and answering phones, to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, or recent graduation.
- At least two years of coursework in finance, public administration, accounting, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of public sector budgeting and finance.
- A valid driver's license and a personal motor vehicle for work duties.
- Current motor vehicle insurance.
Location & details#
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Schedule: 40 hours bi-weekly.
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
