About the role#
Halff is hiring a full-time intern for the Water and Wastewater team in Fayetteville. This position runs from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. You will work on-site and receive hourly pay.
What you'll do#
- Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Support Water and Wastewater Utility projects, including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process design, and construction.
- Help with drainage and stormwater analysis.
- Perform CAD drafting, engineering calculations, and design analysis.
- Assist in preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.
- Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors.
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program for Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent.
- Practical experience with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS.
- Strong organization, communication, and team-building skills.
- A self-motivated approach to your work.
Location & details#
- Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Note: This position does not provide housing.
