About the role#
This is a 12-week paid summer internship program based in Arlington, Texas. You will work 40 hours per week on-site with one of our specialty underwriting teams. The role focuses on building business acumen and communication skills through hands-on work in commercial, personal, or professional lines of insurance.
What you'll do#
- Join agent marketing calls and sit in on client meetings.
- Help with insurance policy renewals.
- Manage new business and renewal data using Microsoft Excel.
- Identify the right programs or markets to meet client needs.
- Handle communications regarding loss notices and policy changes.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on special projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited university.
- A major in Risk Management and Insurance (strongly preferred), Business, Finance, or a related field.
- An expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
