About the role#
Gulfshore Life Magazine is hiring an Editorial Fellow for the 2026-2027 term. This is a part-time position based in our Bonita Springs office. You will work with our team to produce our monthly lifestyle publication and various special editions. This fellowship lasts for 10 months and offers the chance to build your portfolio alongside editors with experience in national and regional media.
What you'll do#
- Help conceive and execute our monthly lifestyle magazine and special issues on topics like home design and health.
- Attend editorial meetings to pitch story ideas.
- Research stories and network with local businesses and community members.
- Write blog posts for our digital platforms.
- Produce a weekly internal newsletter covering regional news and leads.
- Fact-check stories and help maintain our dining and culture listings.
- Source photography, proof stories, and handle general administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
- A high level of media literacy.
- A demonstrated interest in lifestyle topics such as dining, arts, fashion, and nature.
- We prefer candidates with previous editorial experience, such as college magazine roles or prior internships.
- This role is open to early career journalists, recent graduates, and graduate students.

- Location: Bonita Springs, Florida.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Term: Fall 2026 (10-month duration).
- Schedule: Part-time, up to 29 hours per week.
- Compensation: $15 per hour, paid biweekly.
