About the role#
Gulfshore Life Magazine is hiring a marketing intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is an on-site, paid position based in Fort Myers, Florida. You will work up to 20 hours per week supporting our marketing department across several brands, including Gulfshore Business, The Naples Press, and Healthy Life.
What you'll do#
- Assist the marketing team with strategy development and implementation.
- Distribute collateral, brochures, and programs.
- Maintain contact with local businesses and advertisers.
- Provide administrative support and manage digital data.
- Help organize the marketing closet and prepare sponsor gift bags.
- Create and maintain a calendar of community events such as store openings, festivals, and conferences.
- Assist at events with tasks like guest check-in, greeting, and production.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the company in public.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Strong awareness of the Southwest Florida social, restaurant, hospitality, and charity scene.
- Ability to network and build professional relationships.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work nights and weekends for events as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate various indoor and outdoor event environments.
