About the role#
GS Power Partners is looking for a Corporate Strategy Intern to join our team in New York. You will work closely with our strategy department to refine internal processes, improve interdepartmental communication, and support company-wide goals. This role involves collaboration across various departments, including Finance, Development, Asset Management, and Capital Markets.
What you'll do#
- Create presentations, reports, and analyses to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Research and collect data across departments to find ways to improve operations and drive growth.
- Refine internal processes to help teams share information more effectively.
- Build polished PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as business needs change.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate (Junior or Senior) or graduate program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with a focus on building clear visual summaries.
- Experience with AI platforms, specifically Claude.
- Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking abilities.
- Financial modeling and coding skills are a plus.
- Previous experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with at least one day per week in the office.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, up to 4 days per week, aligned with your class schedule.
- Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour.
- This is a paid internship.
