About the role#
The Temporary Community Manager leads the day-to-day operations at the Ridge at Clear Creek. You will oversee property resources, staff, and daily activities to meet financial and operational goals. This role ensures the property remains in compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and other relevant laws.
What you'll do#
- Manage property staff, including interviewing, hiring, and training team members.
- Develop property budgets and control expenditures to stay within constraints.
- Set rent rates and collect fees to reach revenue targets.
- Approve vendor invoices and manage relationships with contractors.
- Oversee the lease process, including resident applications, inspections, and enforcement.
- Build partnerships with university housing and student affairs officials.
- Analyze market trends to carry out effective leasing and marketing strategies.
- Promote resident satisfaction by addressing requests and complaints promptly.
- Maintain property standards through regular inspections of buildings and grounds.
- Manage client and owner relationships through property tours and performance updates.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in residence life or property management.
- Proficiency in property management software like Yardi, OneSite, or Entrata.
- Ability to navigate systems such as THD, PeopleSoft, or MaxPanda.
- Knowledge of equity and inclusion laws, including Title IX, FERPA, and ADA compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills for crisis response and conflict management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build collaborative partnerships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs for reporting and documentation.
- Compassionate communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
