About the role#
The 2026 Greif Foundation Intern will join a corporate program designed to provide hands-on experience through project-based assignments. This role focuses on the administrative and operational aspects of the Greif Foundation, offering exposure to strategic philanthropy, corporate citizenship, and stakeholder engagement. Interns will have the opportunity to present project outcomes to senior leadership at the conclusion of the program.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration and coordination of foundation grant processes and community sponsorship activations.
- Engage with nonprofit organizations to support community impact initiatives.
- Assist in planning and executing grant announcement events, volunteer activities, and community engagement opportunities.
- Prepare internal and external communications, presentations, and materials for community investment programs.
- Track campaign performance metrics and assist in developing event summaries, ROI analyses, and impact reports.
- Build professional relationships with nonprofit leaders, community stakeholders, and internal business partners.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program with at least one full academic year of undergraduate study completed.
- Active pursuit of an undergraduate degree in marketing, journalism, communications, business, or a related field.
- Ability to work part-time.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
