About the role#
Greif is hiring an Engineering Co-Op for the Winter 2027 term. This position is based on-site in Tacoma, Washington. It is a full-time role that provides students with corporate experience and professional development opportunities. You will work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the co-op.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world engineering scenarios.
- Assist with ongoing engineering assignments and projects.
- Contribute to departmental performance goals.
- Learn about various departmental functions within the company.
- Gain clarity on your long-term academic and career interests.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Completion of at least 4 semesters by the start of the term, with remaining coursework to follow.
- Good academic standing within your engineering major and school.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- A preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Understanding of basic engineering principles.
- Experience through relevant work or involvement in professional clubs and organizations.
