About the role#
Risk Advisory Interns join our team to support engagements involving business process and information systems controls. You will work alongside experienced leadership to deliver high quality projects, gain exposure to various consulting areas, and build client relationships. Interns are placed into either IT Risk or Business Process Risk teams and contribute to the full engagement lifecycle, from planning to project wrap up.
What you'll do#
- Execute high quality Risk projects and services from beginning to end.
- Assess client internal controls environments through Internal Audit, SOX readiness, and IT compliance projects.
- Perform detailed analysis to identify compliance needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate and test business processes and IT controls.
- Work with teams to learn how to audit Artificial Intelligence.
- Assist leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Effective project and time management skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week).
- Compensation: $37 per hour.
