About the role#
As a Financial Due Diligence Intern, you will join the Transaction Advisory practice to assist with M&A transactions. You will work on engagements from start to finish, supporting the planning, execution, and completion phases of projects. You will collaborate with staff, managers, and partners to examine acquisitions and divestitures across various industries.
What you'll do#
- Manage data flow and monitor the dataroom.
- Work with the offshore support team to build analysis packages that interpret financial data.
- Create custom analyses to identify key insights for clients.
- Attend and participate in meetings with clients, target company management, private equity firms, and investment bankers.
- Drive the deal process by communicating with key parties and managing deadlines.
- Participate in networking, professional development meetings, and community outreach activities.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize financial information and large datasets.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work in a complex team environment and travel to client sites as needed.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
