About the role#
As an Enterprise Assurance Services Intern, you will start your career at the intersection of assurance, technology, and compliance. You will work on a portfolio of public and private client engagements across various industries. You will support clients with governance, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance through business process analysis, technology risk assessments, and controls testing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning and executing client engagements by understanding client objectives and risks.
- Evaluate and test business process, information technology, and automated controls.
- Support IT audit, SOC reporting, sustainability reporting, and employee benefit plan audit engagements.
- Apply audit and consulting methodologies to identify control deficiencies.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support engagement conclusions.
- Use data analytics tools and AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency.
- Perform walkthroughs, testing procedures, and evidence collection.
- Assist in assessing compliance with reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Draft workpapers, reports, and client communications.
- Collaborate with engagement teams across multiple service lines.
- Participate in client status meetings and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
- Gain understanding of client operations and industry trends.
- Contribute to recruiting, practice development, and training initiatives.
- Stay informed regarding emerging technologies and assurance trends.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Science, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Interest in pursuing professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, or CIA.
- CPA eligibility is preferred for specific roles including Employee Benefit Plan and ESG.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week at a firm office or client site).
