About the role#
The Software Engineer Intern position focuses on the administration, support, and enhancement of E-Commerce platforms and related business applications. You will work with SAP Hybris and NextJS Typescript applications while collaborating with product owners, developers, and analysts. This role involves data migration, coding, and participating in the Agile development process.
What you'll do#
- Assist with enhancement requests and new feature requests for the enterprise E-Commerce platform.
- Support testing and validation of enhancements, new features, and business process changes.
- Help with ongoing monitoring, migration, and cleanup activities.
- Participate in documenting business processes, application configurations, and deployment processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting incidents and coordinate with team members to resolve issues.
- Build and maintain E-Commerce applications in the AWS platform.
- Analyze incidents, defects, and data migration tasks.
- Perform stress testing and identify performance improvements such as caching.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into development tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Programming, or a related field.
- Interest in E-Commerce systems, databases, Typescript programming, and web application testing.
- Foundational understanding of programming, application servers, databases, AWS cloud, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working with structured data, data cleansing, or transformation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Exposure to Typescript, Tailwind, HTML, and Javascript.
- Knowledge of Github or similar code repositories.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
- Experience working with APIs, Webhooks, and Messaging systems.
- Participation in Agile project teams.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL.

- Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
