About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern at Nordson EFD, you will join our engineering team to assist with the development of our products. You will work on projects designed to provide hands-on experience while working under the guidance of an assigned supervisor in a multidisciplinary environment.
What you'll do#
- Write high-level software for automated testing, data handling, and GUI creation.
- Debug product software using data-driven root cause analysis of electromechanical systems.
- Develop control algorithms.
- Help document code.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of your Sophomore year by the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python scripting.
- Exposure to algorithm development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work well within a team.
