About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern at CNH, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You will work on real-world engineering projects while receiving mentorship and training to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Write, develop, evaluate, and document new and modified software programs.
- Test software applications and prepare them for installation.
- Provide business support by analyzing software and troubleshooting issues for end users.
- Research and select technical data relevant to your assigned projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external sources to gather data for engineering requirements.
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations.
- Participate in department improvement activities and support our company culture.
- Learn, promote, and improve our quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, specifically pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge in your field of study.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and apply effective solutions.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
