About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship program based at our Home Office. You will embed directly with our Software Engineering team to work on projects that impact our customers and partners. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside engineers, architects, and product owners while exploring different career paths across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to feature development, enhancements, and API integrations for the Gordon Ordering eCommerce platform.
- Build and automate CI/CD pipelines, testing suites, and database interactions within Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate on developer efficiency initiatives, such as implementing AI-assisted engineering tools and code quality workflows.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Engage in our mentorship program, attend networking events, and participate in community stewardship efforts.
- Develop professional skills through workshops on communication and presentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the US.
