About the role#
The Student Researcher program fosters academic collaboration by placing students on research projects that align with company priorities. You will work across various teams, including Google Research and Google DeepMind, to support the creation of breakthrough technologies and contribute to scientific advancement. Projects are exploratory and focus on developing solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.
What you'll do#

What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a PhD degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Natural Sciences, or a related technical field.
- Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program with plans to return to the program after the internship.
- Experience in a computer science area such as Natural Language Understanding, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Vision, or Machine Learning.
- Experience as a researcher, including internships or lab work.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C/C++.
