The Student Researcher Program facilitates academic collaborations by embedding students within research teams. You will contribute to large-scale projects that drive scientific advancement and support the creation of breakthrough technologies. This role is designed for students to engage with research, engineering, and science teams across the organization, including Google Research and Google DeepMind. Projects are exploratory in nature and aligned with current company research priorities.
What you'll do#
- Participate in research to develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.
- Work collaboratively on projects focused on innovative research challenges.
- Contribute to research efforts that advance the state of the art in computing.
- Engage in academic collaborations that support the development of next-generation intelligent systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Management, Economics, Logistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Biology, or a related technical field.
- Experience in at least one area of computer science, such as Natural Language Understanding, Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
- Demonstrated experience as a researcher, including previous internships, lab work, or contributions to research communities such as published papers.
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Python, Java, or C/C++.
- English language proficiency.
