About the role#
We are looking for an Archive Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work with the communications department to prepare for our 175th anniversary. This is a paid, on-site role based in New York City. You will work 14 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Examine, organize, and store historic media including photos, videos, and past communications.
- Assist the communications department with archival projects.
- Write short pieces for use in physical and digital media.
What you'll need#
- An interest in history or archives.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic writing ability.
- Current enrollment or background in History, Communications, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (14 hours per week).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 27 to August 26).
- Compensation: $18.50 to $22.00 per hour.
