About the role#
Make-A-Wish Alabama is hiring an Events Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Huntsville. You will work with the Development Team to support special events, individual giving initiatives, and corporate alliances.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute special events.
- Solicit items for silent auctions.
- Manage mass emails and perform data entry.
- Call vendors, donors, and wish families.
- Obtain quotes for event needs.
- Pull information from the donor database.
- Conduct research.
- Attend events that occur after hours or on weekends.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.
