About the role#
GlobalFoundries is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineering Intern to join the team at our Fab 9 location in Essex Junction, Vermont. This position is for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on the fab floor to resolve equipment and process issues while leading an individual project. You will share your project results during an end of year poster session.
What you'll do#
- Establish and manage the equipment quality control plan.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase throughput.
- Define and maintain equipment installation process qualifications.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA and good academic standing.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Prior related internship or co-op experience is preferred.
