About the role#
This internship at our Fab 9 location in Essex Junction, Vermont, focuses on sustaining and running the fab floor. You will work on resolving equipment and process issues while completing a dedicated intern project. At the end of the term, you will share your results through a poster session.
What you'll do#
- Establish and manage the equipment quality control plan.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to support throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
- Define and maintain equipment installation process qualification or roadmaps.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Lead an intern project from start to finish.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security programs.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or a related field.
- You have an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and are in good academic standing.
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- You can work at least 40 hours per week.
- Experience in a prior internship or co-op is preferred.
- Knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Design of Experiments (DOE) is a plus.
- We value candidates with demonstrated leadership, project management, communication, and organizational skills.
