About the role#
Our Fab 9 location in Essex Junction, Vermont, is looking for process engineering interns to help run the fab floor. You will focus on resolving equipment and process issues while working on a dedicated project. You will lead this project to completion and present your results at an end-of-year intern poster session.
What you'll do#
- Establish and manage the equipment quality control plan.
- Drive improvements in throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
- Define and maintain equipment installation roadmaps.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Perform all tasks safely while supporting Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security programs.
What you'll need#
- You are a sophomore at the time of application.
- You are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or a related field.
- You maintain an overall 3.0 GPA or higher and are in good academic standing.
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- You can commit to working at least 40 hours per week.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), or Design of Experiments (DOE) is a plus.
- We also value prior internship experience, leadership roles, project management skills, and strong organizational abilities.
